I am building a 1/2 acre pond, 9 feet deep. I will install a filtration system and waterfall. Are there good online sites for things like PVC flex pipe, high efficiency pumps, pond skimmer and filter?

And what flow rate should I get for the pump, and what width stream/waterfall?

Love this site!

Thank you Marty and welcome to Pond Boss.

Hang on and one of our resident experts should answer your questions sometime within the next eight years.

Hello Marty and welcome. As for the skimmer and hose for building the waterfall, there are many companies out there to help you with that...For the sizing of a pump, go to our web page and under calculators, we give you options to correctly size what pump will be required.

He is pretty busy, here is a quote by JHAP from another topic here today:

I wish, gonna be burning the midnight oil to get all the projects done before I go.

I didn't think anyone noticed. Yep I needed a break the other day from a mind boggling accounting/tax project, that has been causing me way too much stress, and so I decided to take a few minutes to see if I could locate the very first post that was made to this forum. I never did find it, but I found this post that was never answered. So I decided to take the "better late than never" approach. Then Cary answered the post and I was briefly ridden with guilt. I got over the guilt however, and now I'm feeling much better. I'm still working on the darn project however.

Does this break the Barnes record?

Sorry, Jeffy!

This idea's already been taken. Go back to your corner.

Barnes, you should come to the conference. Jhap is not sure he wants to demonstrate the effects electricity have on the human body while in the current path of the shock boat. You could participate in his behalf! I assured him the tremors will only last a few days.......

Shut up Barnes1. Your wait was mere childs play. "Oh I waited less than five years for an answer oh booo hooo."

Man up punk. Marty has been waiting for over eight years for an answer and you don't see him complaining do you? Well do you punk?

I supported you in that thread above and this is how you repay me? I don't take back stabbing lightly, come to the conference Barney Boy and you and me will "discuss" this in person.

JHAP, I have more pond management skills in my little thimble than you have in your entire lifetime. I challenge you to a pond mangement showdown.

Marty,

Maybe Barnes1 or JHAP can answer your timely questions. To be honest with you, I wouldn't trust B1.
