Hey Tom, haven't heard from you in a while, maybe this will fix your pond for good. Have you stocked anything into the pond?

Thanks for the response! I usre hope this is the end of the problems. We've had plenty of rain this year, that is until the repairs were completed, no rain since. 40% chance of thunderstorms for the next few days...I've got my fingers crossed, Well, I stocked fatheads in there 3 years ago, then largemouth the following year. I believe they are all gone (the largemouth) because I never see any sign of them. I'm not even sure this pond is a good candidate for fish due to the high turnover rate of the water.

Yeah Tom sometimes it can be frustrating trying to get a pond to support a good fishery, but you have plenty of the main ingredient water, many pond owners loose every thing cause they don't have enough water. I'm still working on the problem of winterkill, mainly cause my pond depth is only 8 ft., but the challenge of trying to solve it keeps me out of trouble. Keep plugging.
