I THOUGHT I'D POST SOME PICS OF WHY I HATE ROCKS. THIS IS JUST TYPICAL OF THE OSAGE HILLS TERRAIN THAT PLAYS MURDER ON BULLDOZERS. IT IS ABOUT 990 CUBIC YARDS AND TOOK 13.9 HOURS TO COMPLETE. HAS A WATERSHED OF 6 ACRES. IF THESE PICTURES HELP AND IF I'M PUTTING THEM IN THE RIGHT PLACE I'LL POST MORE OF PONDS BEING CONSTRUCTED. WILL BE STARTING A 10,000 CUBIC YARD POND THURSDAY WEATHER PERMITTING
I was at a pond outside of Jacksboro Texas a couple of days ago. Heavy clay with lots of rocks and doesn't leak a drop. Of course, I need to figure out what kind of vegetation, if any, will grow in pure clay.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
