I was just getting ready to post on here that I had not received my latest issue yet. I was not sure if they sent a renewal card or anything when you were getting close. I can't remember when I started taking it last year, but my year is getting close.

Hoping they remind subscribers so I don't miss an issue!

I got it and it is a great issue (aren't they all). It was perfect for where I am with my pond and my long string of forum questions lately!

Let's just say that when you get your copy, you'll know why Sunil wasn't put on the cover in front of God and everyone. smirk

Mine arrived yesterday (Saturday).

Another fantastic issue -- including the photo of Sunil with a fish of nearly unbelievable size that was pulled from Theo's pond.

Anyone with a fishing pond who doesn't get The Magazine is doing themselves a great disfavor!

We didn't have time to weigh the fish, but I can assure you, it was at least 5 ozs.

Thanks for giving up the famed fish pattie recipe Cat !

And Dr. Dave, what do you mean by, " A redear sunfish is a "deep" sunfish"? Just curious. Thanks

Ditto. Did you mean they relate to deeper water than BG? That was my assumption but not sure.

BTW - this was one of my all time favorite issues. Excellent work writers, Bob and Gayle!

Page 25. Otter Creek has been one of my favorite projects. We stock and maintain the fishery and it is about as good as it gets. 145 acre walleye/largemouth/muskie lake, 47 acre smallmouth bass lake, and 10 acre trophy feed trained largemouth/hybrid striper lake.

Got it today.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I got mine a couple of days ago.

My most favorite line in the magazine....."I'd be willing to do terrible things to snails in a blender...."

This issue is a sunfish bonanza!

Was finally able to find time to sit and read and I must say, this one may be my favorite issue since I began subscribing a couple years ago. Especially liked the articles on Hybrid crappie and HBG. And how nice of Bruce to document a day in the life of a BG on my birthday. laugh
