Anybody heard from him lately. I think there was a map on this site at one time that showed where everyone was from with stickpins. Do you think it is possible to track him down with stickpins going across the U.S with everyone he has stopped and seen? Kinda like following Santa. smile

An electronic fish tag, or better yet, a GPS collar like they use on elk and bighorn sheep studies. smile Heck, we could go all out, and pay the big price for one of those satellite collars? That way, we could all long onto a web site, and follow his path and current location. Heck, they do it for whales and polar bears, so why not Rainman??

I'm in as long as the collar has a shock function.

From the Lakes of Northern Canada,

To the Gulf of Mexico

Wherever fish are needed,

That's where Rainman will go.

There's a lot of exciting places,

Just waiting to be explained.

So join us now each week my friends,

To the world of Rexy Raines.

Rex is a great guy!!! Though I'm still bouncing over the ruts his tank truck left in my yard!! Was worth it though--my fish (the remaining ones that didn't go over the emergency spillway in last weekend's flood--are doing great!

Rex really is an interesting guy! A man of his word too.

I entirely agree. Disappearing from radar for weeks at a time like this just adds to the mythical intrigue IMO

No question that he's a man of his word. Unquestionable ethics.

If the GPS location collar for Rex had the shock function that Sunil was talking about, and if I was able to remotely control the aforementioned shock function, then the GSA would be willing to contribute to the location/discipline collar as well.

And I would propose the same offer for Yolk Sack.

Remember, when the dog, Mason, bit Rainman, Rainman bit Mason back.

So you're saying we need a muzzle for Rex as well?

I'd chip in on that also.

Okay, Okay!!!

We have a shock collar too, and both the dog and I run when the wife picks it up!

Mark, err Hang_Loose, watcha need buddy? Another dog?

I've logged over 10,000 miles the last 3 weeks, and about 20 hours of sleep, and even though I now have mobile internet, people get angry for some unknown reason when I try to read the Forum and 13 tons of fish truck drifts in to the wrong lane....Of course once I show these people that I ran into a ditch what I was reading, and pull them out, pay for damages, etc, they become new loyal members. The damages thing cuts in to the profit margin, and I don't think ewest will give me pro bono representation, so I had to start watching the road more.

TJ, if you want to hear about the latest adventures, make an appointment with Dr. Bruce when I'm there in the next couple weeks. There is a whole season's worth from the run 2 weeks ago where I had to sneek QUIETLY on to the Conderosa, at 2am no less...not easy to do with a 13 ton 425HP diesel truck...but only Bruce can say if I woke his guest or not and was thereby successful in the task he gave me.

Sunil, I'll send you an email to see what new creatures you would like to add soon, but if I now have to endure a sattelite guided shock muzzle, your delivery price is going WAY up for the entertainment value added.

If you want to know some of the highlights of the run to Nebraska, they would include learning that my truck slides like a dirt track car instead of rolling when you hit an exit 30mph too fast, and if you don't panic, drifting through the turn is a lot of fun in a heavy truck. I never expected to steer left through a hard right turn! SK63 wasn't real happy to learn that I put his 75 pounds of shiners in someone elses pond, but the people at my last stop were tickled to death to get 175 pounds of tilapia instead of the 80 pounds ordered because I left my scales on top of my truck at SK's.

Or when I delivered fish at 4am to one of Shawn Banks clients, SOMEWHERE, and got stuck, called a 30 ton wrecker to pull me out then had to call a wrecker with a 120,000 pound winch to pull me AND the wrecker out. After getting out, the ignition switch failed so I had to disassemble the steering column to get the thing started---oh yeah, the wrecker bill was $1241.17. Thank goodness Nate is such an easy going guy since the 3500 Jumbo Bluegill he had ordered, died about 30 minutes before being delivered when the oxygen tank ran out and they suffocated before the other tank got hooked up....another grand lost.

Seriously though, I have a blast when I get to meet all the great PB people and all the other customers!!!

I'm betting you "chambered a round" during that event.

I would think it would have been more like "emptying the magazine."

I think Rainman needs one of those little white domes on top of his truck with GPS tracking like they do with Santa. He sure seems to be delivering a lot of presents with the fish that he's delivering!

Rainman, No more dogs for a while. My wife says that 5 large dogs in the house is pushing it. We haven't heard anything from you for a while. I think you're flying under the radar.

This is to the rest of the Pond Boss nation........Would anybody like to see an article or two in Pond Boss magazine on Rainmans adventures delivering his fish? I would.

I know you have a plate-full Rex, but maybe Mr. Lusk could pay you for them. You've put a lot of smiles on peoples faces just by reading your misadventures on this forum.

From some of the stories that I heard, I doubt that a single article or even two would cover part of them!
