During the recent hurricane, the stormsurge inundated my pond with water from the Chesapeake bay. Now, my fish are dying, presumably from the salinity. Can anything be done to correct this situation beyond relying on ground water and rain.

Tardy reply, but there's not much you can do. Now, I would have a water sample analyzed and interpreted to determine what corrective action, if any, to take.
If salt content is high, you might try to pump out the salty water, to be replaced by rainfall later, or add well water, that sort of thing.
But, analyze first, then decide.
