I am considering purchasing a Pond King Pro Mini Pontoon boat for my North Texas 12 and 24 acre lakes. I like the all aluminum design that allows them to stay in the water and out in the weather vs. the marine grade plywood in other similar boats. I am concerned about how they will fish in the wind and whether the 30' shaft of the only footguide trolling motor made works well. I would really appreciate any insight.

I've been on a shocking outing in one but there was no wind. They are really neat pond buggies.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

TC, I bought a Pond King Pro with a 55lb Minn Kota/36" shaft and like it fine on a 5 acre pond. It bucks the wind on any day you might want to fish..du
