Dwight, you seem to be attracting an inordinate amount of skepticism for what appears to be a well thought out and engineered project. Lest you become discouraged, be reminded:

"When a true genius appears in this world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him."

Obviously this quote is not completely applicable to this thread, because Dr. Willis definitely doesn't belong in confederacy, and JHAP hasn't chimed in yet.

Amazing, I was just looking at some scrap pvc the other day, and thought, "I can make a cool humidity control device with that."
Alas, then one piece began to squirm, move about, grew hair, and trotted off for some 'muskrat love'.

The input sq. in. area is the same at the combined sq. in. area of the 14 small holes in the pipes.

When I tested the system I set the hair dryer on high though I really only planned to use it on low for boot drying. This was a worst case test that resulted in the worst case result; the PVC heated to the point of bending and distorting. With a little paint maybe I can sell on eBay as art!
