I just got the last ticket available for the Dwight Yoakam concert tonight across the river in Windsor at the casino. I'm wearing my pink hat, it is only 5 rows from the stage way to the left. However, I have this idea: It is a small venue, there may be autograph opportunities (I'm going to dance). I would love to get him to sign this hat for the Jessie West Foundation at South Dakota State University charity silent auction at the next Pond Boss conference. I can only do my best to try. I did get Peter Noone's (Herman's Hermits) autograph there about 5 years back.

Each year, the winning bidder would be charged with "adding value" to an already priceless pink chapeau and returning it for it's next ride to stardom.

Say, that would be cool. Dwight could certainly add to the PB "cool" that already is brought by Sunil, Theo, Cody, and Condello.  Oops, and I meant to add the names of all the other forum members who think they also are cool, but I ran out of time.

I think the 'hat' is going to have to chaperoned by women.
I mean, imagine a man at a Dwight Yoakam concert wearing a pink cowboy hat.
"Hey Dwight!!! Can I get an autograph?"

But lots of compliments on the hat! The Casino (very large) was sold to Ceaser's organization and they built a large auditorium - unlike the tiny one that was in the casino before.
I'm going to have to get my own cowboy hat since I only get the pleasure of wearing this one for a while. Wonder if they make pink leather cowboy hats?
However Dwight and Company were really great, I love it when they sound like their records, he does, still got it at 53. I looked up his bio, very impressive.

It was cool, got to go right and stand at the stage. I like the country singers, they are so grateful for their auidiences and always talk about their families/roots.
I looked on-line, pink cowboy hats are available, but mostly in straw and wool felt, some with brims you can shape, lots in kids sizes. Some have rhinestones, some are other colors with pink trim and on and on. I need to learn more about cowboys hats, I am ignorant on that subject. I saw pink boots too. Tell Bruce, I'm sure he misses his hat.
