My eleven year old caught a 6 pound bass this evening and the bass had one pupil that was quite large and one pupil that was almost pinpoint? I'm pretty sure he wasn't shooting any drugs so what does this mean if anything? I'll try to post a picture if I can figure it out. thanks

Could possibly be a head injury at some point. Not sure in Bass but in humans this can mean some sort of head injury. Not sure??? Just a thought.

Fish pupils don't dilate. Must be something else. Is the lens cloudy? Photos will help.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't shooting any drugs You know this for sure? You checked for track marks? Catch a few of his friends and have an intervention asap.

I don't see why you can't? Becoming blind in one eye could have came from many things. Looks like the worst is over for it anyway. As long as his other eye is good. What do you think Greg?
