I didn't look, but her mouth was full of Aquamax 600.

There was a LOT of fat in the abdomen.

Beautiful fish Theo - congrats my friend.

Where are your SMB? Any updates on their status?

A bunch. I ran out of time, or probably could have caught some more. My LMB are really pigging out on pellets this fall, when it's warm enough.

James, where were you?

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I didn't know you hunted, james.

Let me guess....you've got 426 rifles and 83 sets of camo clothes?

I suppose it might be possible to have too many sets of camo clothes.

83 is no where near the limit, though.

I've hunted those darn things all over New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado. Always enjoyed myself and they are great eating.

I didn't mean to hijack this thread but I am not a hunter and this was the first thing I have ever shot so I was a bit excited. I don't own a rifle but had to borrow one and had no idea how much work it would be. I am getting too spoiled to spend many more nights in a tent. I think Big Cedar Lodge is more my speed. I will stick to fish in the future I think.

Well if it means anything to you james, I have a desire to fire a gun - I wouldn't want to kill an animal though - maybe I will get a gun and try target practice shooting for the winter?

It's cool James. I was the unfortunate soul who posted their fish pic right before yours. \:D

Yes he did. I have another BOW we'll be targeting hopefully this weekend and taking some Stubby Steve's samples along with us. (Thanks Stacy!)

What method of fishing these pellets do you suggest for these trout. The boy and I prefer to use spinners because it's more action, but we may have some younger kids tagging along so we might use a bobber on a couple rods. Can you put a pellet on a spinner hook or would that be an unfair advantage?

Glad you got them, Josh! We like to use it with a fly rod and size 10 hook. Steve said to tell you that most people who fish for trout are having the best luck with the Stubby Steve's alone... alot of people are adding a piece to their favorite lure and doing well that way. He said if you use a small hook you probably only need to use one piece. And if you use a bigger hook, you should add enough pieces to completely cover the shank of the hook. But you probably figured that out already! \:\) The kids are going to have so much fun!

I'm really looking forward to trying them out Stacy and if there's plenty to go around I'll share them with some other avid anglers and get their opinions as well. I have one review for you already...I showed them to a little neighbor girl and she said "Ewwwwww".
