We had great weather here today. I picked up some seven inch chubs and went to Bremer Pond. Caught four real nice bass off west ruby point. I used the biggest slip bobber I have ever encountered to keep the bait under control.
Released about a dozen big chubs at the end of the day to keep the NP happy.
Good morning Dave, I've checked the ships systems, and everything appears to be running normally.

Northern pike really like big chubs -- no spines, go down easy.

So do big CC! I caught one on a big chub when fishing for NP in Mi. a few years ago. It was close to 20#, and I thought for sure that I had a large NP on. Boy was I fooled!

I'm man enough to admit when I've been framed.

Sunil the only time you have been successfully framed is in that pic with you and the bottlenose dolphins . What happened to that pic - I see your framed pic was removed. Someone post it here if you have it.

Dwight dealt a big 'ole death blow on me with as few words as possible.
I'm still licking my wounds over here!

I was telling Dwight that now there have been sucker chubs released in Bremer Pond that we stand a chance of one of them coming to visit when we are night fishing on the ice, as suckers are proned to do. (must be the light in the ice fishing house, sandwich drippings, or the smell of quality beer that makes them do that) Dwight said the survival rate on them is close to nil with the NP and LMB in his pond.
