Would appreciate any feedback on Fish Wagon out of Harrisburg, AR. They have a truck next Monday that will come to my pond and deliver forage fish, CNBG, RES and FHM's. Any pros/cons would be appreciated since I need to make a decision soon for Fall forage stocking.

David, I don't really see a problem. The water ought to still be warm enough for them to get acclimated.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

My dad's friend got some CC from them a few years back a couple different times. The fish were not contaminated, of the size range stated and did well. Even threw in a couple albino CC's in the mix. He also got FHM's. They were hand sorted and found to be all FHM which is a good sign. No other experiences with them...

David, I have no experience with the Fish Wagon folks, but if you know and trust these folks it is a convenience so go for it.
My experience and others with fish truck deliveries is a risk for contamination of species.
We have some of the best hatcheries in the country in our area that provide high quality genetics. If you want the very best CNBG and Florida LMB genetics in the country, I would go with Waldrop or Overton.

The Pond Boss , Bob Lusk has a hatchery and fish also. Check with him. Can anyone think of a more comforting feeling than buying fish from Bob, Eric, Cecil, Bill or Bruce's hatcheries? Like that confident, warm glow you feel after you've dropped your kids off at your Mom's house so you can take your wife to dinner/movie....absolute serenity achieved. Think they smother their fingerlings with hugs and spoil them with homemade chocolate chip cookies past their bedtimes?
