More like Illinois Giant! However my dad has lost 37 lbs since him and I went on a diet 9 weeks ago. Can you imagine weighing 327 lbs? He still has 7 weeks left on the 16 week program! I am down to 258.

This young man is not even sporting the Condello FPPT.
I wasn't there so I have no specs yet.

One of our member's (wivell) son caught this smallie yesterday at my pond: That's my son, Austin. Specs on the fish: 18-19 inches via the tackle box comparison method Tackle box measures about 12", this SMB was easily 6" beyond the box. I'll leave it up to others to judge the weight. I have little doubt it was at least 4 lbs. Just look at the gut and make your own judgment. We caught a few largemouth bass bigger than the SMB, but I love SMB and thought this was a great specimen. Many thanks to Sunil for allowing us to fish his pond. Scott

Quite a fish! For Sunil to grow that many different species to such nice sizes says something!

This is still the biggest HBG we've gotten from my pond this year. It's almost 11" and weighed 1lb-10oz. Also caught some 14" crappie and a 20 inch bass.

Thanks guys. I think the guy in the picture caught it on a wax worm. Wish you could see the helmet in the pic. He's got one cro-magnum helmet.
Bruce, some day I will put it on your BG site. I go there occasionally to drool over the pictures but I just haven't had time to sign up and post a picture.
Two significant things happened in my life lately that ought to allow me to post more of these pics.
1. I finally can get DSL at my house! 2. I'm retiring as of the end of August!
These both mean I'll be spending more time on forums and I'll be doing more fishing.
Gotta get back to fishin!

I finally broke the 10 Inch barrier! 10 1/4 Inches, 1 lb 1 5/8 oz, caught on a Stubby Steve's pellet. He's in the new pond with the bachelor gills now - I can't wait to see him in a couple of years!

Not too shabby for OH, Theo. Any idea on the new bachelor's age? 1. BG went in Spring of 2003. I am very sure he is not an original stocker, so he could have been spawned in 2004, 2005, etc. 2. Ask Bruce how long it takes him to grow one that size and add a year or maybe two. What's the background of that pic? (it's screaming photoshop) It's the door on the Oarhouse. It was getting fairly dark, and that's the only place I got a decent shot. Photoshop would have better lighting.
