scott one on many types of bacterial infections. Probably got scuffed up somehow. More importantly what is Wr on tht bass? It appears to be very skinny if my pond I would rid of him.

Could it be heron wounds?
Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Could it be heron wounds? Maybe if it hit him right straight on. All the ones I've seen were kind of glamncing blows that left straight line wounds.

the bass i have caught recently are tooo skinny..
remember my pond is full of goldfish (too large for the bass to eat now) lots of bg that have spawned and the tilapia are in and have spawned. my bass are eating pellets( the f1's that i stocked).. i can put a minnow basket in the shallow water and have 20-30 bg and gsf within an hour. WHY are the bass skinny?
are the gsf gonna be a problem?
since the brown upper layer of water has cleared i have the perfect green water now, 18" on the disk!

herons are here pretty often, trying to eliminate that problem though!! how big of a fish do they typically eat?
sores are on a lot of the fish that i catch.
not really fishing the pond much except to try and catch the goldfish..i do catch bg and lmb by accident though.
