I have a small pond in East Central Alabama and I am looking to stock Channel Cats immediately. I would like to start fishing them soon. Who should I buy from and what size should I get? I will be pellet feeding them. The pond is almost exactly 1/4 acre and the only fish in it now are 1000 fatheads stocked a few weeks ago. Any help or hints you guys can give is appreciated. I am a newbie here and easy to train.

Welcome to the forum, Nate. I am sure several members within a state or so of you will have good CC sources.

P.S. Nice, sensible looking house.

Thanks alot. We love it. It has a nice big country front porch. Three acres with great neighbors.

Thanks. I have left them a voicemail and sent them two emails. They don't seem to have too much interest in the little guy.

I just picked up some fist today from "American Sport Fish", it's about 20 miles south of Montgomery. 250 FHM and 250 BG/RES for less than $100. They were all about 1 1/2 to 2" fish.

Your pond looks like mine...chocolate milk...
