BG Bedding. I really could use a polarizing filter on the camera! Looking North Toad Tadpoles. There's a band of them about 18"-24" wide and a good 80'-100' long. They are about 3/8" long now.

I've never seen that many toad tadpoles. 18x24 inches wide by 80 to 100 ft long. Heck, I've never seen that much of anything.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I had about the same size swarm of tadpoles last year, and in a couple of weeks the fish had them whittled down to a couple hundred. With the wet Spring the past 2 years, it seems everywhere I dig in shady, moist soil, a toad or 2 start hopping away.
