I was told by and old coonass that crawfish love to eat peppergrass. I should plant peppergrass in my pond and the crawfish will thrive on it. I dont know exactly what peppergrass is. I have found about 3 divverent things that are called peppergrass. One is cress, but I think its more of a garden plant. Another is Lepidum(sp?). Any ideas on what this is?

Believe it or not, common peppergrass and cress are related, and in the lettuce family. Peppergrass is not a grass at all. You can spot it because it has unusual flat seeds.
Cress is more likely to do well in wet areas, but both are very hardy.

Bill Cody can help here - I'm certain. If he doesn't find this post you should reach out to him.
