Nasty stuff on the news. You guys OK?

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Dang weather service kept interrupting the NASCAR race with pesky tornado warnings.

Seriously, it all ran about 40 miles south of Chicago; outta my zone...this time. It gets kinda creepy when the W-man on those TV alerts names off the towns in the path and the time "to the minute" when a tornado is passing thru. Like a train schedule.

Major rain here, gushes going into the lake on my drain. 2 days after street sweeper in and I cleaned debris off of 4 catch basin covers, weighed 22lbs. Our is the only lake of the six that thawed with this rain, it is the salt. Have salinity testing going on. No dead gizzard shad. Super high water level, got Army Corp. of Eng. out here to see the creek where we drain off.

This system is supposed to bring Texas some rain. A slow, soaking 2-4+" multiday rain according to the weatherman last night. As usual, they had half of Oklahoma lit up with tornado watches.

Another .5 to 1.5 inches around here over night and looks like the farm took 1 to 1.5 inches over night. We could afford to dry out for a while

Windy as all get out last night. Lots of rain the past few days, 4" total in 4 days on top of saturated ground. 60's down to 20's overnight. Still have to make it out to the woods, as I was getting ready to clean out a neighbor's culvert I heard a tree come crashing down in the woods behind the house, and that was before all the wind started.
