Since Bob lets them advertise here I know that they are a good company with quality products. Is there any situation when you would not want to use these minnows. After reading the information on their site is would seem to be a no brainer that this tiny fry would be a great food source for the beasts that are on the botom of the food chain. Thanks Paul

Paul, they aren't all that cold water tolerant. I don't remember what temp they croak.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

What kind of minnows are you talking about? If I'm not mistaken they offer a variety of minnows. To my knowledge the most popular ones are the GSH.
There aren't a whole lot of down sides to GSH in a LMB pond. If you want to grow large BG I would stay away from the GSH because they compete with BG.
