Every time the temp drops close to his predicted low for the night he changes his prediction to an even lower temp. He's changed it about three times since earlier this evening. LOL

Isn't that cheating?

BTW, It's 15 below outside right now at 10:59 P.M. New predicted low is is 20 below. My deck on the house keeps popping from the contractions.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Our guy said a low of -8 to -10. It was -18 when I left this morning but they were still saying it was only -10 with -31 windchill.

I wish I could be wrong 70% of the time and still get paid for it.

Make it 90% of the time, and you could be my boss's boss.

When you make predictions on something that you don't control you will be right about +/- 50% of the time. Aside from weather forecasting my 401K is a good example of that fact. \:\(

That's why I cashed my 401K in to invest it in some holes in the ground and to refinance the house.

You know what's really wild? My dad isn't very knowledgeable about the stock market but he had a lot of money invested in it back in the 80's just before that big crash. He had it invested through his job as an I & R telephone company guy something to do with profit sharing or whatever. Anyway he had an awful feeling the stock market was going to crash without an signs such as watching the news or anything. He called his representative and had him sell everything and the next day the stock market crashed big time. We still talk about it to this day.

BTW it was -17 at 10 A.M. this morning!

Today...light..continued light throughout the rest of the afternoon followed by widely scattered dark this evening and on through the rest of the night

Oh yea,the wind chill is about 15,but we're supposed to be back up in the 70-80 range again next week.
