I am practically rebuilding our shock boat and was wondering if anybody knows of a depth finder/transducer that will “shoot thru” an aluminum hull. The transducer we have on the back of the boat (outside of the hull) lasted about two weeks before it was broken. I know most of the transducers that can be placed inside of the hull can only be used with fiberglass hulls, but just wondering if anybody knows of one that will work with an aluminum hull.
