Introducing myself here. I live near Springfield, NE and have 60 acres of mixed farm land and wooded area to play around with. I'm beginning a pond project and stumbled across this awesome resource. Hopefully I can quickly become an educated contributor to this great site. Hi Omaha,welcome aboard,we're glad you found us.You say you want to be an educated contributor to the site,just go to the archives and read EVERYTHING in it and youll now all there is to know about ponds,land,water,fish and a few things youd probably rather not know as well.Oh,and we like pics,always take lots of pics.

Omaha, we could use an educated contributor around here. It might offset some of the BS artists, er I mean contributors.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
