Out of the many different available (freebie) on-line aerial photo sites, each of us has varying degrees of the most recent photo. I have found an aerial photo shot on Mapquest that I want to "swipe" and copy as a file to my computer.
Can this be done? How?

Do you want to do something like this? I dont remember how I did this but do a search for Screen capture. It is some combination of keys.

Sure...that would work
I could use a photo editor to crop out the stuff that I don't want.

Try the keystokes "Q" "%" "`"

Then hit "|" and ENTER, and that should do it.

you can save a screenshot by pressing printscreen, opening a photo program (I like IRFAN), pasting, save as....

That's the way my teenager taught me to do it.

DOH!
OK, so when I am using Photoscape, I suppose the button labeled screen capture might be the option I seek...?

Brettski,
You may try <control> and Print Screen.

Then paste into a document.
