I have also had "special" success during a full moon. I have several theories on that, too.

Maybe I should start a thread that will run parallel called "Bruce doesn't know poop about full moon fishing either". \:D \:D

"Maybe I should start a thread that will run parallel called "Bruce doesn't know poop about full moon fishing either"."

You would only need to do that if we thought you knew something about anything anyway.

I like the humor and sage theories in this thread, but WHY is it under the "Muddy Water" instead of "Questions & Obsevations" section?

Because any theories you hear about barometric pressure, and it's effect on fishing are all "Muddy Water"....at best.

Sunil, if Bruce knows something about anything, he knows a shipload about fishing.

Because we don't have a "Blind Lemon Jefferson" section.

I know that we know that he knows more than most of us know about what we don't know, when we don't know, and how we don't know.

What happens if the wind blows from the north or the south?

Does Bruce know?

Wind from the South, fish hooked in the mouth."

And if the wind is calm? The only words that I can think of that rhyme with calm are palm and balm.

Good luck with that.

Would most of the PBF members agree with me that although Bill Monroe was the king of bluegrass mandolin, now that he has passed, that Marty Stuart has taken his place? 0032 in the a.m.

Not a great judge of mandolin, but I think Arlen Roth is the king of the Dobro. Outstanding belly, too!
