Or trying to get a sonar reading through your ear.... Naah... I was just calculating the distance from my head to the transducer in nanometers by the frequency of the sound. You can do that if you're gifted.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

For decades, record LMB from all over the quad-state area have mysteriously vanished into the Bass Record triangle. Is it too much to fathom that they can reappear in Bremer pond, the heart of this phenomena?

Do you think Cecil will eventually adjust to the inevitable or remain in denial? I think denial....

Alledged denial of one man is really the cold dark face of the disappointment of reality for another. CDB In other words it ain't gonna happen Dwight and I sure won't lose any sleep over it.

Cecil, Do you think this would look good in the bottom of trophy case? Or do you think a more natural look would be better?

Dwight, would it be possible for you to fertilize the pond? I know they don't recommend fertilizing up north because of oxygen depletion under the ice, but since you have the circulator you wouldn't have to worry about that.

I have three Bass that will easily reach 10 pounds in a few years. I named all three of them Darlene. So what I have here then is; Darlene, Darlene's sister Darlene and Darlene's other sister Darlene. In the interest of brevity, they will be known collectively as Darlene. Triple Threat!

Theo FYIO Thanks, Theo, I will be down with the "Lead Truck" on Wednesday to pick it up. The reverse anti-protein converters and injection nipple units are complete and ready for the depleted uranium. If Darlene wanders over to the dock to be weighed after a couple days on the protein nipple stack then we are on the right track. There may be a need to back off the protein throttler if the weight gain is occurring too quickly (over .3578 pounds per day). No purpose is served by Darlene having a dock side blowout, so I will be careful out there! Once Darlene achieves 10.5 pounds, I will hang that volunteer "way-me" hook that you sent me (thanks for developing that piece of the puzzle) in the water and pull her out for a weigh-in with the DNR present. After the weigh-in and documentation Darlene will be released into Bremer Pond and phase II of the process will commence; New World Record Large Mouth Bass caught at Bremer Pond. You will, of course be handsomely rewarded with fame and fortune for your contributions to the project. I am already thinking about the next project, perhaps a 10 pound Bluegill. Bruce would certainly be willing to assist in making that happen!
