One of the more productive ponds I fish, well fished, is infested with coontail. All except a small area in the center. It's been that way for about a month and half or so, and since then the fish have lock jaw. My question is, how long before nature takes it's course and the coontail dies out? I figure we have at least two full months of summer left, then a day or day and a half of fall, then right on in to winter. It'd be nice to know there's a chance I'll get to fish again before winter gets here. Thanks.
