Ok, I fish, raise my own chickens, and raise a pig up each year but I dont really hunt. I have done some chores for little old ladies who have paid me in guns. Kids and I do some air rifle stuff and I have a .22 for the pig and wondering gators but I also have two shotguns, two 1898 Krags, and a couple of others guns that I just dont feel like having around the house anymore with the kids getting bigger and more curious. Like to see at least the Krags go to someone who would appreciate them. I will be putting them on consignment at the gun shop shortly but figured if there was a collector on here I would offer them first refusal at least.
I hope this is the right area to post something like this.

I'm 49 and 6'3" - is that old and long enough?

Bump.

P.S. I'm partial to Mauser 95's and 96's myself. Are the Krags sporterized or still in Mil config? That might matter to interested parties.

P.P.S. This is the right place.

Theo,
43 and 6'1 so you are older and longer. Darn it, should have put that tidbit in there. No the Krags are NOT sporterized. Good condition, one is 1898 model and one is 1903 model, correct sights, etc.
