I am booked in at the Sheraton Arlington. We might list where we are staying so I can mooch a beer off some of you guys. I'm old.

I will be at the Marriott Courtyard on Nolan Ryan. Why, because it's free, and I'm poor.(and old)

I'm at the Sheraton, bunking with Wild Bill Cody and hoping his infamous late night antics don't keep me awake or get me billed for lamp shade damage.

I'm at the Sheraton or whatever the hotel next to the convention center is called. It was the Wyndham last year.

I have "squatter's rights" at my son's home in Bedford, a few miles from conference center.

I am staying at my home with HD tv, internet, food, and a screaming running around 3 year old.....

Well, Fattay, just don't expect to be home early on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night.

Because I'm too sexy for this shirt I'm staying at the Sheraton Arlington in a "Club Room."

This is gonna be our primary vacation so I decided to splurge in a minor way. The fact that the "Club Lounge" offers a "variety of beverage options" and is withing crawling distance from the room had nothing to do with my room selection, I swear.

I tried to book the "Presidential Suite" but it has been reserved for the lead singer of the Rolling Spawn.

Evidently my arms are long enough I can hug everybody at the same time.

Whether we want you to or not depends on which shirt you are wearing. Sleeves and (secured) buttons would be a plus.

How are the talks organized. Since there are so many I am assuming that multiple talks are occuring at the same time. Is a seminar list published indicating where and when each talk is occuring?

There should be a list available no later than the start of the conference; IIRC there is a draft now, but I have not seen it.

Last year, there were multiple sessions going on concurrently. But one of the complaints was that it wasn't possible to see everything, and I believe this year there will be one program and we won't have to choose what we will miss.

I vote for a group hug at the Sheraton Bar, preferably before we drink too much.

The odd thing, heybud, is that when you first see some of these guys, you feel like giving them a hug, but there's this weird feeling you have like "....I just know this dude from the internet...should I just shake his hand or give him hug? Man, he sure sounds different than I thought he would...."


So anyway, just give a hug. It's all family.

I just don't even want to envision a big group hug of smelly fisher persons -- the thought of a group hug at the pool really freaks me out -- what if Fatty McB shows up in a Speedo?

After reading this thread, I'm thinking seriously about changing our hotel reservations to an undisclosed location -- maybe in Mexico or Oklahoma.

All I know is that Sunil got pretty handsy with me when he hugged me last year....

Just for testing purposes, I had my wife click on the link. Turns out the music was just in my head.... all those voices singing in harmony, it's absolutely beautiful.

That's one distinct advantage to Multiple Personality Disorder, the concerts are fantastic and you always have a front row center seat.

And the lights, ahhhh the lights. (Blatant Sunil ripoff).
