Hey guys,
Dunn's Fish farm is going to be in town on Saturday and I just wanted to get some FH so I can start growing them out of my small pond. I was just thinking what is the best way of trying to section off an area so they have time to reproduce. I do have existing unwanted fish in the pond and have yet to eliminate them. I was thinking if I buy some door screen from the local home depot and run it across the shallow area of my pond. Im just not sure if this is the best idea. I have removed tons of small 2-4" BG and alot of 4-8" BG. I am continuing to remove fish from the small pond but how much pressure can the existing fish put on say 5lbs. of FH? There website shows anywhere from 250-300 per lb. Any and all info is appreciated.

Thanks Ewest. I also thought of constructing a rectangular pvc "box" that i could staple material and allow my FH to have ample room. I figured maybe a structure that is 3'high x 3' wide x 10' long would work. Then I would just staple the screening around it and drop fish right in. I could then scoop up and take as many as I need without having to chase them down. Would this work? Would reproduction rate drop if they are in deeper water, say 4 feet at the deepest point?
