Sure the bass is a lot bigger, but who has the better FPPT?

Nah, don't answer that question.

Dave I thought to myself as the photo was being taken, "I should smile in this one."
Someone caught this 18.5" 4.5 lb LMB while I was fixing her pole for her.

She caught on a Crappie jig while fishing for these.

Aw come on guys. If it weren't from the help received from this site I'd still be catching small GSF wondering where the LMB were, and thinking that there were no Crappie in my pond.

How are you restocking GSF? If this is true you must be a member of GSFA, right?

I would be scared to guess how many 100's of lbs of GSF are produced every year in our rice fields. It's so many that people around here just call them 'rice slicks'. We drained a resevoir that had held water for 3 years last winter. I went out with a dip net and caught over 200 lbs of 1"-2" GSF. I really like the GSF, more than BG. I just wish they were as prolific, or maybe it's best that they're not. I've never been asked to join the GSFA.
Is anyone interested in seeing the fish I caught today?

Yes, OK. But this isn't helping anyone to like you more!

Of course, Cheyenne.

I should be over in your neck of the woods in a month or two. I need to buy some redear for my RAS experiment. Do you have a recommendation for a hatchery?

Here are some spotted bass that I caught back in Febuary on a stream that comes out of the Ozark mountains. I haven't been able to fish much since then because of all the flooding that we have had.

I thought you wanted to ban me? And Sunil if it's going to hurt my popularity I'll go back to simply reading the threads. I feel like I've hijacked this thread.

I've bought fish from Keo Fish farms, farm cat, and Dunn's fish farm. Dunn's is south of Brinkley, AR and hard to find. I think they mainly supply fish to other fish farms, but they had 12" LMB last year when no one else did. I've had good experience with all three of those.

Can anyone explain to me why for the last couple of weeks all I have caught are one to two pound male bass in about two foot of water? Where are all of the big fat girls? I like the big fat girls better.

What are your water temps ? If pre-spawn the fat girls are just off the edge in deeper water getting fatter. \:D

Eric we just keep rolling in with the cold fronts this year. My surface water temps are still in the low sixties during the day. I am not complaining though about the rain.

Love the Pics Cheyenne!
Favorite is the crappie in the cooler,
2nd place goes to the HSB.
Green Carp are pretty much junk fish! Except when a lady is holding one up for a pic.
