I have a yen to put a few in my 3.5 acre pond. I have not identified a supplier of these for central Oklahoma. Does anyone know one? If not how hard are they for an amateur to transport. I know sunfish are easy, shad very difficult. How do HSB fit into the hierarchy?

You might check with Mike Freeze with Keo Fish Farms in Lonoke, Arkansas – just east of Little Rock. He is THE major supplier of HSB fingerlings. Telephone: 501-842-2872 http://deltafarmpress.com/mag/farming_keo_farm_specializes/

Thanks for the reply. The link was interesting and looks like it will point me in the right direction.

Hey Layton, Mike Freeze sells to dealers. It looks like we may have landed a new account just east of Norman. Could probably bring some to you later this spring, if you don't find someone local, or sooner.
