Just purchased my little slice of heaven. Thanks to all of the great info I got from the members I've decided on bluegill and largemouth bass. The lake was originally a gravel pit (ten years ago) it filled and is about 25 feet deep in the middle with a shallow and narrow shelf on one side from 1 - 4 feet deep. Can't wait till spring to add some lilies to the shelf and bluegill fingerlings. Thanks again for the info! You guys and gals have answered many of my questions and I haven't even had to ask. Great posts.
