Well, can we break the record of "Max Online: 344 @ 08/20/07 12:47 PM" tonight?

I'd like to, but I've always thought that "record" was an error of sorts.

I haven't seen us break 80 since we went to the new dedicated server

What say we all try to be online from 9 to 9:30PM EST tonight and see what happens?

I feel I also hear you saying that there needs to be some kind of attraction.

What do you have in mind?

hey guys, i have some really sad news from JHAP, and perhaps we could use this "record setting" opportunity, in part, to give a prayer out to jeff's dad (and family). i will start a new thread under the family section and explain.

thanks,
dave

Well, I see that there are 37 of us logged on.

A toast to all -- but, it seems like all we'll need is a small celebration.

Maybe we need to announce this well in advance of when something really big is happening and everyone will be near their computers. Like the next big nationwide blizzard, the next planned alien invasion, the next Super Bowl, the next Bowling for Dollars, the next big power grid brownout . . .

Well, in hindsight, Cecil is watching Lost on TV. I only know this 'cause my wife is too.

We can certainly plan one out in advance. There's only five of us who have sounded off, and there's more than that viewing.

Who are you?

I sure wish I could have contributed. I fell in 8" of mud while feeding the cows and got stuck.

Technically speaking, it wasn't actually mud.

That gives a new, literal meaning to the phrase "knee deep in..."

. . . well, nevermind.

Theo's stuff doesn't come easy. You have to work at it.

135 viewing right now. That's by far the best I've ever seen. It's on the "forums" page.

Is the "currently online" number only viewable by mods? I can't seem to find it.
