GW unless less 1/10 acre I would not expect to see them. We put 3,000 in 1/20 acre pond and do not see them. However they will fill up a minnow trap in quick order. Might try that to see if there. Of course if you have any predators they are gone in matter of hours, but I think you know that.

Thanks Greg. The pond had been without fish for over a year when the FH went in. I thought they would eventually respond to pellets, but there had just been a strong algae bloom so maybe there's plenty of natural forage for them. The pond is currently about 35 feet by 100 feet by 5 feet

Now that I figured out how to put photos on this forum, here are a few before and after shots. We had zero visibility for months and months. I was tired of the brown muddy water. The miracle of chemicals!
