hello guys,
Well its been a while since i've had a chance to post. about 10 months ago i stocked my acre pond with 50-HSB 500-RES 500-CNBG 10LBS-TILAPIA 15LBS-FH AND 100-BLACK CRAPPIE. I hand fed them for about the first three months and since i have only feed about once every two weeks. I am so tempted to drop a line and get some fish. What do you think? Can I havest some of them? Any info helps. thanks

I would fish, but I don't know that I would harvest anything yet.

What size do you think the crappie are?

C&R first, see what size everything is. You might want to let everything spawn this year before removing many fish, or perhaps longer. (Not long enough for the HSB to spawn, though ;\) .)

Is your stocking plan complete with those fish? Do you plan to add anything else (LMB)?

I want to say that the crappie were 4-6 inches when we stocked them. I havent tried to fish the pond yet. the only thing that i plan on restocking is HSB and the panfish. the HSB were in the 7-9 " range when first stocked.

The crappie could be 8-10" now and the HSB could be what, maybe 12" plus?

I'd fish but not harvest for the immediate future.
