It's snowing pretty good here right now. No visibility. Harsh.

Currently it's about half covered with shadow. Kind of eerie to watch.

We can see this eclipse great here, from INSIDE the house - very nice in 12 degree weather.

Just going full now. The moon is a dull reddish orange color here.

We have PA, OH, IL, and NE viewing bases. We should all take the highest zoom pic we can at about the same time and compare the amount of coverage. It should vary...right?

Hey, I didn't even know there was an eclipse tonight. What I don't learn in this forum. I just looked out and it's about 3/4 covered here, looks cool out my window cuase it's -10 outside.

How many of you are out by your pond howling? Brettski?

It's about 4/5 shadow here - the same dark red Bruce mentioned. The achromatic aberration from the window glass makes the far edge of the white part appear blue, so the moon looks like a lopsided Pepsi logo.

B-ski, I'd get a really lousy picture through the window, and I'm not going outside in my nightshirt and fuzzy bunny slippers.

Oh my, I just read the fist page of this topic and I see that many of you have already been out howling. It's been a long winter.

I knew I would like this place. I am a HUGE pink floyd fan..even though I'm only 25. Their music is timeless.

Lying on my back, on the deck of a Triton boat, tied to the dock on Richmond Mill Lake, watching the eclipse. All seems right with the world. 55 degrees, tree frogs chirping, clear night. Holy cow. Pinch me.

I'm sitting inside my house cuz it's 8 degrees outside. I'm dreaming lazily about the snowy commute to go back to work tomorrow morning.

Good picture, Bruce. You even caught Cecil's Reticulan Masters' ship zipping through the night sky (lower left), trying to penetrate the tin foil with command signals from an oblique angle, way to the West of Ligonier.

(Actually you will have to wait untill tomarrow, I left the camera at home this morning.)

I did finally get to see it while the snow broke for a few minutes, but standing outside was not a viable option last night.

Total bust here.

Too much marine layer couldn't see a darn thing.

Cassette player jammed, distorted the music until it spit tape all over the place.

Couldn't find my fuzzy bunny slippers.

Speaking of which:

Sunil, you were not supposed to disclose the secret ceremonial attire. What part of non disclosure agreement did not get???

Jeez, see if we ever invite you to be the master of ceremonies again.

Oh, by the way Sunil are you free next eclipse?
