well,
as a newbie,
1) I built a ~1 acre pond.
2) I got fish from fishing in an old pond, buying from an established OK fish farm that brings tankers to local TX feed stores, and from a local failed fish farm. Coincident to the last, where I bought a local blue-gill mix, I started to see catfish eating my feed. Obviously, I am not claiming that coincidence is causality, but I am pi$$-d.

Help) How do I get the catfish killed and keep the minnows, redear, bluegills, and black crappie (soon).

What is a local bluegill mix? What did you buy; bluegills and redear? As for the cats, what do they look like? It sounds suspicously like you wound up with some seined out bullheads. I know of no way to totally eliminate them but they can be somewhat controlled by fishing and trapping.

In a 1 acre pond, you might want to think twice about black crappie. Lots of posts here about them.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
