Yes I do know Bobby and he has told me about his experiments. But as you say he has other responsibilities and I don't think he was able to give it the attention it needed. I do know as you probably do that Malone and Sons, whom he works for, were the pioneers in tripolid grass carp.
That said I think the other route of changing the sexes of fry or sex reversal may be the way to go. Since my fish are not raised to be eaten, I will be experimenting with the hormone treatments in the future but I will not produce them for resale. I also will not treat any fish in any water that would leave my farm for several months.
