if any of you were worried that santa and tom cruise wouldnt show up this year, dont......they did, and we had a great time.

here are some pics

santa and the ms. showed up in time for christmas dinner, he had to rush though.

cruise showed up the day after christmas

i try to be as cool as cruise, but of course i never will be.

we did some shooting (died got a new bow for x-mas \:\) )

i hooked up santa and cruise, they were discussing the finer points between homemade bamboo and manzanita walking sticks.

we only got one fishin trip in, the weather was pretty gnarly (we had two days w/ no power) and other family stuff kept us off the water, but we had a break and caught some bass one afternoon.

the lighter side of cruise

it was a great trip, can't wait til next time.

You've either been a good father or a good bad example.

Cruise's attire is priceless! \:\)

cruise picked it out for me, conspired w/ the wife (who bought it) it was a complete surprise. its a PSE heritage 45 pound left handed take down recurve. it replaces my old one-piece ben pearson 45lb cougar recurve that i overextended and broke last summer. this impala shoots like a dream.....but i need to get in better shape to shoot on a regular basis, its taxes my aging joints....

theo....you CAN be both can't you??

More beautiful pictures, and a commentary from DIED.

Here's Cruise in a pensive moment...

Here's Santa scolding us for not making enough pie...

And here I am opening my other present that Bruce sent me...

DIED is looking a little edgy in that last one.

Hmmmm, Heybud, that is a significant look alike however I don't think that you would EVER catch Dave in a suit.

Dave, Glad you survived the horrendous storms up there. According to the news power was out to a lot of people in El Dorado county.

Where are the photos of the bass and cows taken is that the ranch pond?

Glad to have you back on Pond Boss my friend.

jhap, the storm was a real bruiser. we lost several large pines, one (a 150 footer) fell across fence to ranch and had to be cleaned up pronto...was a big job...and yup....pics were taken down at ranchpond.

heybud....your powers of observation are uncanny....yer not the first to make this connection. i've tried most unsuccessfully to hide the existence of my evil twin brother for over 5 years now, ever since he got a cable TV show....

one day at the local hardware store, the young gal behind the counter thought i really was him....didnt take long for my wife to usher me outta there after the gal said she thought he was really hot \:o
