I will put Zephyr Pond and property up for sale today. It was a good run at Zephyr Pond and I will definitely miss the "Old Gal". She will be sold without me ever achieving my goal. Actually there are times I forgot what my goal was. She provided a lot of good times and memories and for me I guess that's what really counts.
In Dog Beers, I've had one.

She provided a lot of good times and memories and for me I guess that's what really counts. I hear you heybud! I haven't said anything yet on the forum but my dad also put his/our pond up for sale last week too. Personally I'm bummed about it, the pond is way out of my price range to take over, but there have been lots of good memories out there in the last 21 years and as you said, "that's what really counts." Someday I will be a Pond Boss rather than just a fish manager. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/conten...ge=saleNebraskaSo Heybud, what made you decide to sell the pond?

Heybud,
I guess that's good news and bad news. Bad, because we all know the the joy a pond can bring. Good, because we have to live our lives and do our business. Good luck!

Heybud, are you going to buy another place and build another pond?
Just do it...

Sorry to hear that, Heybud. I'd feel worse for ya, 'cept you already have a new love to heal the old heartbreak. I still remember that postcard quality shot you put up when Zephyr first hit the forum.

Heybud:
"Moving On" ain't just an old Claude Akins TV show.
Shorty:
Impressive to see your Dad made the big league listings (Cabelas'). I see "Recreational Opportunities" include baling hay and getting married - I can relate really well to that. I've been baling hay ever since I got married.

Hi Heybud~ I'm sad to be losing touch with Zephyr pond - who ever buys the property, maybe you can tell them about us and have them keep us updated on her. I was really worried summer before last when you were experiencing that horrendous drought! Now you have a new ranch and a new pond, which surely you will build many happy memories upon~

Always a need to raise a drink in homage. I'll do mine around 6PM tonight. So long Zephyr!!
At least you've got your new pond.
Shorty, your post concerns me deeply. I have a rogue double agent Smallmouth in your pond. He has failed to report anything about being at the mercy of a new owner.

Second thought for you, Shorty.
At least you have Condello's assortment of ponds to mess with...

Heybud, I think the memories will make it all ok.

The end draws near for Zephyr. We signed a contract today so if all goes as planned someone else will own Zephyr in a few weeks. I hope to recruit him to the Pondboss family.

Brettski my man you are always so observant. How many ponds does a guy need? Don't answer that questions.

heybud I have my fingers crossed that the sale goes through for you. Now you need to start posting about the LaZ W. I know you have some good questions stored up to ask.

Well! Today the new owner got Zephyr Pond. I gave him a copy of Pond Boss Magazine and told him to join in the fun. He said he thought he was gonna make it strictly a BG/CC pond for grandkids to fish in. I wished him luck. Adios Zephyr Pond, sob, sob, sob.

...close the door and open the window! You're a fortunate man, Heybud, to be able to do the things you do. I trust L-dub will fill the gap.
