Might be off of here shortly! I'd rather have snow! Anybody else getting freezing rain?
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Too far South for it, today. Going to get a bunch of the kind that stays wet and fills ponds, though.

Cecil,
About 2 hours NE of you and it's been on & off since 11 PM last night. Probably 1/4 on the ground now. Weather report has this same stuff coming down for the next 6 days, on & off. Probably will keep me out of the treestands and into one of the heated box blinds until it turns to snow.
Hope your power don't go out.
Mistakes are proof that you are trying.

One disadvantage to the geothermal heating and cooling guys. If the power goes out - no heat as the geothermal needs electricity to kick on and off. We had a small propane tank hooked up to the fireplace just for this kind of situation but the gas company took it away. Said we weren't buying enough gas and in order to keep it we had to cough up $260.00. I said come and get it! The wife has a bad, bad, cold right now. I'm sure she'll be fine even if temps drop, but if something happened to her do you think I'd have grounds to sue?

Cecil, We are supposed to have ice and sleet tonight here in West Texas. I have my fire place going in case we loose power. Not sure about suing propane people but I would sure give them my thoughts. Stay warm and hunker down

I was just kidding about the suing. I'm not the suing type. But I can't understand how a company can do that. It seems not only mean but counterproductive. I was always taught it's cheaper to keep a customer than to have get another one. I can't believe they needed that tank.

I'm sure a policy generated by a propane company employee making his way up the corporate ladder said that they should terminate you. Policies generated by such employees do not have to make sense (common or business), they just have to be approved by a higher-up who can't do any better job of running a business than the guy who's plotting to stab him in the back. This kind of stuff happens in most if not all industries. But I'm not bitter!

Well looks like we will be fine. Only about 1/8th inch of ice and the rain has stopped. But more freezing rain in the forecast for Wednesday night!
