Had my 3/4 acre pond stocked with 300 8-12" channels a couple days ago.
So far, I've seen 25 floaters. Is this WNL when stocking this late?
Question 2: Will all of the dead fish "float to to top?" Or only a percentage?
Thanks!

They won't all float. Warmer waters this time of year will add to mortality rates of stockers.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

10 to 15% is not overly high for big fish this time of year. Keep a close eye on them it should stop soon.
