Just skin mounted an albino catfish and I'm in the process of painting it. I remember it was offwhite with a light brown dorsal surface but can't remember if some or all of the fins were light brown also. I usually take pictures but didn't on this one. Anybody got a pic or pics they could post or and email me? Thanks!
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Not sure if a white catfish is the same as an albino, just dont forget the red eyes. That is a distinguishing factor.

Here's an albino cat for ya... Now that I have you're attention Cecil, DIED caught a GSF that weighed OVER a pound. Unfortunately, he didn't get a photo. He will next time though!

Check this one out: Makes me wonder if they are really albinos. Seem more like mutations lacking in pigment. The West Virgina Golden trout and other fish I have seen that lack pigmentation are all yellowish in coloration. Anybody know?

jeff, i don't know if it was the same fish, but caught a 10.5-incher that boga'd just a hair under 1.25 lb on friday evening and still didnt have the camera with me....i was trying to "sample" the BG and this fella crushed a surface fly offering over a weedbed about 20 feet out and scared the livin bejesus out of me.
i will be prepared next time though....
and sorry for the minor threadjack cecil. that is an incredible catfish....kinda spooky looking, although the girl dont seem to mind. good luck with the albino cat mount.
