Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and I just wanted to say HI. I fished today for the first time with one of the guys from a bass fishing forum and he turned me on to this forum. I live on the water in an Association Community and fish it a few times a week. I joined this forum because I feel that the LM Bass in my lake/pond are under weight. I hope to learn a lot from you guys and hopefully turn my back yard into a trophy pond.
Peter

Welcome Peter. You are in a great area to grow LMB. There is a lot here about that subject.

Welcome aboard Peter. You ought to check out Bob Lusk's book "Raising Trophy Bass." It's a great read on the subject.

Thanks guys. I made a couple of calls and I was able to speak with a Biologist that works for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and he is willing to help me out. He's sending me information that he has gathered theoughout the years and a road map on how to bring my pond back. I'll keep you guys up to date with the information I receive.

Boy, does this sound familiar. I came here my first time for the same problem in Florida. Does your pond have any bluegill of any type?

I do have some but not as much as I once had. BTW, I received the info from the Biologist. It's been very informative and I hope to start the process soon.
