Heads-up for anyone interested in planting trees on your property. TFS is accepting orders for fall plantings. This is the least expensive method of obtaining trees that I have found here in Texas. I assume most other states have this service available too: http://txforestservice.tamu.edu/forest/nurseries/default.asp Gator

In Ohio they're available in the Spring. Small seedlings, but very affordable. I buy 50-60 every year and use them to keep up with deer predation and slowly gain on it.
