When I charge my trolling motor batteries the clamps on the charger get corroded constantly and I have to replace them. Is there a way to solve this problem ?

petroleum jelly. aka vaseline. that is what is used on shipboard battery systems.

I use permatex battery terminal coating. Kinda like spray paint. Same thing used to happen on the old skid loader. I spray a couple of coats on and try to get a little extra where the terminal clamps to the wire.

David, I use the red and green felt things on the posts. They seem to work.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
