THAT is some strong rope!

Don't ever underestimate the tenacity of animals when they're hungry! And we're supposed to be the clever ones?
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Substitute Theo for bear.
Substitute Diet Mountain Dew for feeder.

Substitute Diet Mountain Dew for feeder. You know Bruce, that would have worked for rope climbing in JHS gym class! :p

Brettski - Do you have a photo or diagram of a feeder baffle that would work in this particular situation?

We used to feed peanuts to scrub jays, then a squirrel moved in and emptied the feeder. We moved the feeder and the squirrel then waited for the jay to hide the nuts, then he would dig them up. The jay then pretended to bury a nut in the lawn and it drove the squirrel crazy looking for it. Squirrel finally left.
