Your county nrcs office would be a start. They normally have a list of pond builders in your area, generally they will not reccomend one over another.
There are enough Texans on this board that someone will probably come up with a couple of names.

You might give our office a call. 800.687.6075. Office manager Kathy can give you the name of two great contractors, depending on your project. Mike Otto and Nick Jones advertise in Pond Boss. Otto lives west of Gainesville, Jones lives near Paris. If we know more about your project, we can probably suggest other ideas, too. Where are you building the pond...is it inside city limits...what is the purpose of the pond...how large will it be....have you done any research, yet? These are a few questions which need to be answered.
