i was on another post, and started talking about this. i might be late, and this might have been done already, but float my boat.. i'm new!..hahha
we have 4 lakes.. so we'll say property record.
brother in law holds 2 catfish record - 3.3lbs, 4.3lbs , and the largest turtle record. i'd say a little over 4lbs as well.. soft shell.
i think i hold the largest bass record,(i've seen) i had to eyeball it, and it looked to be maybe a hair over 3lbs.
my stepfather holds the bgill and redear record , 10oz, and 8oz

I have a 35 year old pond with no bass larger than 1.5lbs. I strongly suspect a fish kill last summer (before I bought the place). My larger fish are not as big as the one that was called marginal in the latest PB mag article about culling fish!! If I followed that to the letter I wouldn't have any fish!! The previous owner also used aquashade so and I suspect pretty much cut off the bottom of the food chain. This year I am seeing some growth and in a couple of years,,, who knows, I might have a 2lb LMB and a 1lb BG to brag about!
